The strongest technical aspect of my work i'd say would be my elephant. I have always loved elephants especially the oriental looking ones with jewels and different colors. I took my time and used my favorite tropical colors into my elephant, but added some realistic colors and i love how it turned out. What i could've worked on and made a little bit better would be my back round. Although i love the theme of it and the idea of the tropical paradise, it came out some what disfigured. I wish it was all evened out to fit the screen better especially the long palm tree above the elephant. Im not sure how i could've fixed it since I'm not too familiar with photoshop, but i still was obsessed with the picture itself. The easiest part and the funnest i would say was coloring in each figure i got and adding my own colors in. it was like drawing in a coloring book accept you create the coloring book and use tools to splatter the color into it. It got aggravating at some points when the paint bucket would miss the spot but it was my favorite throughout this whole project. The most difficult part of this activity for me was moving around the objects to fit inside the picture the best. I originally had a lot more going on in the picture, but i had deleted a few things i worked hard on and enlarged and made some of the pieces smaller. I demonstrated the objective in this art project by balancing colors and showing transitions of realism in coloring page images. If i could do this art activity again i would choose a different back round and have it not all look so cluttered together and stick with certain pieces that go together better.
